Matt Vollmar is a sophomore from Florissant, Missouri. He is a Health Science major with a minor in business. His goal is to attend graduate school for physical therapy and eventually run his own therapy clinic.
Matt says one of the things he loves about Mizzou is that there’s a place for everyone.
“Whether Mizzou is your first choice or not, everyone has opportunities to reach out and find what makes them happy,” Matt says. “Don’t be afraid to try something new because that may help you meet your closest friends and make the best connections with your professors or other faculty members.”
In addition to serving as a student ambassador for the School of Health Professions, Matt, also is involved with Mizzou Alternative Breaks, Caring for Columbia, and the service fraternity in the School of Health Professions, Sigma Eta Rho.
