Dave Gardner is a junior from Chicago, Illinois. He is a health science student with an emphasis in leadership and policy. Dave intends on going on to graduate school at Mizzou to receive his master’s in health administration to one day become a hospital administrator.
In addition to being a student ambassador, Dave has been involved in campus organizations such as Mizzou Black Men’s Initiative. In his free time, Dave enjoys grabbing wings from CJ’s with his friends or watching documentaries to expand his knowledge.
What has been your favorite Mizzou memory?
My favorite memory at Mizzou was my MBMIxMAB trip to Washington D.C.

My favorite organization at Mizzou is the Mizzou Black Men’s Initiative.
If you could give one piece of advice to incoming freshmen, what would it be?
My piece of advice for incoming students is to be outgoing and always make time to study.
What’s your favorite Mizzou dining hall?
My favorite dining hall is Southwest because of all the food options inside.
Where is your favorite place to study on campus?
My favorite place on campus to study is the Bonds Life Science Building because I can get a lot of work done in a shorter amount of time due to fewer disruptions.
