Candace Jennings is a senior from the Chicago Suburbs.  She is majoring in health science with a minor in wellness.  She will begin a teaching career in Dallas, Texas this fall through the Urban Teachers program with Johns Hopkins University.

“Being a student in the University of Missouri School of Health Professions has exposed me to a plethora of opportunities that will help me achieve my goal of being a physical therapist, but also allow me to be an overall great health professional,” Candace says.

Candace has also been involved in the Pre-Physical Therapy Organization, Jumpstart, and has worked in Residential Life for the university.  She enjoys talking selfies with her dog and hanging out with friends and family.

What has been your favorite class so far?

Health Science 1000. My professor was Emily Mahler and I really enjoyed her teaching methods and class.
