BPH Receives Grant to Launch New Online Degree Program

The Bachelor of Health Science in Public Health will soon be available completely online thanks to a $248,000 grant from Mizzou Online that will fund course development so that new and existing courses can be made available in online formats. Dr. Michelle Teti, director of the on-campus and online BPH programs says the partnership with Mizzou Online offers program faculty an opportunity to learn and benefit from their expertise in online program administration while they remain focused on developing and delivering program courses. Dr. Kristofer Hagglund, Dean of the School of Health Professions, which is home to the BPH program, says the addition of the online program addresses a workforce demand for trained public health professionals in Missouri and around the world.
