The SHP Faculty Engagement Award honors a faculty member who has demonstrated exceptional engagement with and service to the school, their profession and the community. This year’s recipient is Dr. Evan Prost.

Prost has developed an exercise program for geriatric clients at Tiger Place, and supervises students in their care and interaction with them. He facilitates fall prevention and balance screenings in various places in the community, and his screening forms have been adopted by MPTA for use around the state. His contributions in service and research have made a significant impact on geriatric care in our state. His nominator wrote, “He is an exceptional colleague, mentor and an inspiration as a teacher.”

Congratulations, Dr. Prost!
