OT Adds Two New Hires

To kick off the 19-20 academic year, the Department of Occupational Therapy added two new members to their team. Stephanie Allen (left side of photo) is OT's new Assistant Clinical Professor. She is a Mizzou OT alum, and has been practicing as an occupational therapist since 2007. Allen will help lead the new Bachelor's in Health Science: Occupational Therapy Assistant (BHS-OTA) program, and will also be teaching courses in the Health Science program. Allen says it's "surreal" to be back on campus in the same rooms where she was a student, and is looking forward to assisting with the development of the new BHS-OTA program. In addition to technical OT knowledge, Allen says she's passionate about the 'soft' skills as well.
