On November 1, Jamie Gladson will join the SHP Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences as Clinical Coordinator and Assistant Clinical Professor for the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
Jamie is coming to SHP from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock where she held the position of Clinical Coordinator in the Nuclear Medicine Imaging Sciences Program.
Jamie has worked as a Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist, performing nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology studies as well as supervising nuclear medicine staff. She also has 15 years of experience in PET/CT and diagnostic CT as Technologist and Imaging Supervisor. In addition to her certification in Nuclear Medicine, she has earned certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography and the Limited Radiologic Technologist License for chest, and skull and sinus radiographs.
Jamie’s recent teaching experience includes responsibility for Physics for Healthcare Professions, Health Physics, Nuclear Physics, Legal and Ethical Issues, Radiation Biology, Healthcare Management, and PET. She has recent professional presentation experience on various nuclear medicine topics at the school, state, regional, and national level.
Jamie has earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology and the Master of Science in Radiological Sciences and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in higher education.
