Project Director
Jill Lucht is the MU Mo HealthNet Data Project Director at the Center for Health Policy. In this position, she partners with state and academic institutions to analyze Medicaid expenditures and trends in Missouri and nationwide. Through the Data Project, Missouri’s Medicaid claims data are available for research and evaluation projects on a wide variety of topics. To date, topics include Show Me ECHO, childhood asthma, breast and cervical cancer, melanoma, behavioral health services and pregnancy outcomes.
She also directs the Boone Indicators Dashboard Project, which utilizes data and creates indicators to help guide decisions by local policymakers and nonprofits in Columbia and Boone County, Missouri. As a Certified FaciliTrainer through NCCJ St. Louis, she provides facilitation and training for inclusion, equity and diversity as part of the Center for Health Policy team.
Ms. Lucht comes to CHP with a background in policy research related to agriculture and food security, as well as the impact of food policy on health. She received her Master’s Degree in Rural Sociology from the University of Missouri, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Rural Sociology and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin. In her spare time, Jill is part of the goat milking team at Goatsbeard Dairy.
