The University of Missouri is seeking applicants for a full-time, Non-Tenure Track (NTT), Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. The primary responsibility of this non-tenure track position will be to provide clinical supervision for graduate students who are completing their audiology clinical practicum and teach within their areas of expertise (e.g., hearing science, introduction to audiology, or related areas), to prepare students to become an integral part of a diverse health care workforce. Additional responsibilities include participating in committee work and service activities to advance the mission and vision of our department, our school, and the university community.
Successful applicants will possess a master’s degree, AuD, or PhD in Audiology or have dual certification in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, with ASHA Certification (CCC-A), Missouri licensure (or eligibility), and at least two years of clinical experience.
Candidates will be evaluated on their clinical experience in the areas of audiology (and speech-language pathology for applicants with dual certification), experience in clinical supervision and/or didactic teaching of bachelor’s and master’s level students, and interest and experience in some administrative work (initially directing the audiology screenings program), oral and written communication skills, and a desire to support a collegial and diverse work environment.

The MU School of Health Professions (SHP) is the University of Missouri system’s only school of health professions and the state’s only public health program located on a health sciences campus. Its mission is to improve the health and well-being of others.
