What should make students choose Mizzou?

Students should choose Mizzou because of the incredible experiences our campus offers. Mizzou gives students the chance to do undergraduate research, gain hands-on experience, and develop meaningful relationships with students and faculty.

What has been your favorite Mizzou memory?

My favorite Mizzou memory was my freshman Homecoming. My whole family came to town for the football game and Mizzou beat Ole Miss in a competitive game.

How did you choose your major?

I chose my major because I knew I wanted to work in healthcare but was unsure in what area. Health Sciences gave me a great, holistic knowledge base so that I could explore where I wanted to pursue a career.

If you could give one piece of advice to incoming freshmen, what would it be?

My one piece of advice would be to sit in the front of your lectures and make connections with your professors and TA’s. They are great resources for your learning and are always happy to help.

If you could have dinner with one famous Mizzou graduate, who would it be and why?

I would choose John Hamm because I am a huge fan of the show Mad Men.
