2022 Speech & Language Summer Camps

The MU Speech and Hearing Clinic is excited to announce its Summer Camp 2022 offerings. This year, three different camps will take place throughout July and will serve second graders through teens with varied programming. All camps will feature small and large group activities along with individualized instruction. Please see below for each camp’s details.

CAMP CONNECT

This intensive week of making social connections through fun activities and collaboration at the MU Speech and Hearing Clinic is geared toward tweens and teens. Join us to develop strategies for improving your ability to CONNECT with others using language and team building.

  • When: July 11–15, 1–4 p.m.
  • Where: Lewis Hall on MU Campus

CAMP ICEBERG

This week-long intensive program at the MU Speech and Hearing Clinic is designed to help your child learn more about stuttering and how people live and thrive with stuttering!

  • When: July 18–22, 9 a.m.–noon
  • Where: Lewis Hall on MU Campus
  • Who: 2nd Grade through Middle School ages

CAMP CODE BREAKERS

Camp Code Breakers is the perfect tune-up for children who can benefit from a boost in language and literacy learning this summer.
Join us for a week of opportunities designed to increase confidence in the areas of spelling, vocabulary, phonics knowledge, and word identification skills.

  • When: July 18–22, 1–4 p.m.
  • Where: Lewis Hall on MU Campus
  • Who: Ages 8-10 (3rd-5th Grade)
