The Lewis and Clark Discovery Award recognizes one early-career faculty member and one long-standing faculty member of the School of Health Professions for excellence and achievement in research and scholarship, highlighting “discovery” as a core SHP value. The ideal candidate will have made significant contributions to the health and well-being of individuals, families and/or communities through research and scholarly activities.
This year’s Lewis and Clark Discovery Award winner in the long-standing career category is Dr. Enid Schatz. Dr. Schatz is a recent Fulbright Scholar with a robust program of research studying adults in South Africa with HIV.
Congratulations, Dr. Schatz!
