Assistant Professor Dr. Casey Clay was recently elected Secretary of the Missouri Association for Behavior Analysis (MOABA). The regional organization is affiliated with the Association for Behavior Analysis International. Having been a member of the group for three years, Clay says he most enjoys the conferences. “They always bring interesting speakers to Missouri who are doing impactful, cutting-edge research.”
MOABA aims to support scientific research on behavioral principles and applications. Clay says he decided to run for Secretary in order to aid in advancing and expanding this mission. “I wanted to be a part of the board of the directors to help steer the course of Applied Behavior Analysis in Missouri and to encourage enrollment and participation in the organization.” As Secretary, Clay’s duties will range from keeping and disseminating meeting minutes to overseeing committees.
