MPH Student Receives First Alumni Society Scholarship

The first annual Mizzou Public Health Alumni Society Scholarship for Current Students was recently awarded to Master of Public Health student, Heather Davenport. The $250 textbook scholarship is given to current MPH students who demonstrate financial need related to their academic work. Davenport is grateful for the funds, stating, “By awarding me these funds, you have lightened my financial burden which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning.”

The Mizzou Public Health Alumni Society (MPHAS) is able to award this scholarship thanks to generous donations. MPHAS hopes to continue to offer this scholarship for students every year. Consider making a donation today to support MPH students. Davenport hopes to use this outlet to one day help others, “ I look forward to one day joining the Alumni Society where I will be able to help students achieve their public health goals just as you have helped me.”
