Bailey Baucum, University of Missouri Occupational Therapy student has won the Missouri Occupational Therapy Association’s (MOTA) Susan Sheckley Barnes Scholarship.
Susan Sheckley Barnes was a pioneer in the field of OT who graduated from the St. Louis School of Occupational Therapy in 1928. She embraced generosity, altruism, creativity, leadership, resourcefulness, and optimism. The award is granted to an entry-level OT student each year that best demonstrates the Barnes’ positive values.
Bailey Baucum was selected as one of the outstanding students to receive this year’s award from MOTA.
