OT Student Selected to Receive Prestigious AOTA Scholarship

This week, SHP OT student Breanna Carter was named as a recipient of the E.K. Wise Scholarship from The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

The scholarship is designed to support female students from diverse backgrounds pursuing a post baccalaureate entry-level degree program in occupational therapy who can meet E.K. Wise’s and AOTA’s objectives of developing a workforce to meet society’s diverse occupational needs in underserved areas or communities.

Breanna was selected as one of only three recipients of the award by the AOTA Scholarship Selection Committee and will receive a grant in the amount of $2,500.
