Last week, the MU SHP Nuclear Medicine Program held its annual, year-end lecture and awards ceremony at the Peach Tree Banquet Center. At the event, two members of the 2017 graduating class were presented with awards for academic achievement, and program alumna Anne Ellis, of Jefferson City Medical Group delivered a lecture titled Interesting Cases in Nuclear Medicine.

Sarah Ruwe, Oliver Award, and Academic Excellence Award Winner
The Oliver Award recognizes students who have performed exceptionally well in the clinical setting; displaying outstanding patient care, quality workmanship, and excellent professionalism. The recipients of this award represent those students who will be valued members of their chosen profession and will make contributions beyond the competent performance of duties. Input from clinical preceptors will be sought when determining recipients of this award.
