Cherished traditions, reunions with loved ones and joyful celebrations…the various winter holidays afford us the opportunity to reflect on days past and prepare for days to come. Change, like winter, is challenging. It is also magical and comes bearing gifts.
2011 at the School of Health Professions brought the gifts of new faculty and staff to support our 320 new students. We are very proud of the quality of education and the educational experience our 2200 students receive at SHP; a quality made possible by a commitment to excellence and a willingness to go the extra mile on the part of our faculty and staff dedicated to our mission: To Teach, To Serve and To Discover.
As we welcome in 2012, I wish you all hearts full of high hopes, minds open and thirsty for new knowledge and spirits kindled by compassion and a desire to change the world for the better.
